Idea
We created a site that allows the wide diversity of Nicolas Errèra’s projects to be discovered. Through the platform, we offered visitors the possibility to listen to all of his compositions and to get a glimpse into the everyday life of this composer.
Code
Masking effects (on typography, SVG formats and videos), a grid of blog articles and content taken from Twitter and Instagram… Coming up with an idea for a site for someone like that of Nicolas Errera was not a straightforward matter.
To guarantee a seamless user experience, the site used full AJAX which allows uninterrupted music listening between pages. All the players were synchronised to create harmony between the audio and visuals.
We managed to simplify the back office tool whereby Nicolas Errera can autonomously manage his projects, integrate sounds and choose which songs he wants to upload and consequently, in which direction he wants to take the site’s global playlist.
